I am London based composer, sound designer and lecturer. My music, both instrumental and electroacoustic has been widely performed throughout the UK and abroad and draws on a wide range of ideas particularly regarding the structure and nature of real world and environmental sound.

After study with Jonty Harrison and Vic Hoyland at Birmingham University, and Simon Waters at University of East Anglia, I went on to complete his PhD in composition with Prof. Sebastian Forbes at Surrey University in 2001.

I am particularly interested in collaboration with other artists and art forms, having previously worked with architecture, theatre, lighting, film and animation. However it is contemporary dance, with which I have collaborated since 1989 and which has formed the focus of my compositional output since 2000 that I am especially interested. I been lucky enough to work with a range of choreographers in the UK, Europe and the US.

See my 'recent work' page for examples of current and past projects.

I am always interested in new collaborative opportunities and welcome contact from interested artists. Just drop me an email.
